White House Bruisers
The White House Bruisers are part of The Middle Tennessee Football League, a
non-professional, adult league. The MTFL was developed as a league for men
to continue to play full-contact football once the ‘glory-days’ are over. This
very demanding “hobby” requires players to buy their own equipment, be devoted
enough to learn an extensive playbook, maintain fitness, take on the risk of
injury, and devote about 40 out of 52 Saturdays a year to this game they all
love. The MTFL is independent of any other organization. All of
the MTFL games are played locally at the same location, so there is no
home-field advantage. Admission to the public is normally free. For
